Omaha Whiskey Fest is Nebraska’s first and leading whiskey convention, bringing together distillers, sponsors, and guests for a large‑scale, high‑energy experience centered on whiskey and craft spirits. More than a tasting event, the convention functions as a destination gathering — combining brand showcases, education, sampling, and sponsor activation at scale.

Bythwood Creative partnered with Omaha Whiskey Fest across multiple years to lead campaign creative, promotional systems, sponsorship activation support, and event marketing assets. The work focused on building a recognizable and repeatable campaign framework year over year — aligning sponsors, visuals, messaging, and event materials into a cohesive public presence across print, digital, and on‑site environments.

In the early years of involvement, Bythwood Creative also supported sponsorship outreach and activation strategy, helping establish early partnership momentum and structured visibility systems. As the convention matured, sponsorship leadership transitioned to the board, with foundational activation frameworks already in place.

The guiding objective throughout the engagement was consistency with energy — building a campaign system strong enough to scale, yet flexible enough to evolve each year.

Annual Campaign Systems & Creative Direction

Each year of Omaha Whiskey Fest required a campaign look and feel that could extend across multiple channels while adapting to new sponsors, themes, and programming. Bythwood Creative developed annual campaign systems that delivered continuity without repetition.

Rather than one‑off graphics, the approach centered on campaign frameworks that could scale across deliverables and environments.

This included:

  • Annual campaign visual direction

  • Theme and concept development

  • Cross‑channel design systems

  • Sponsor‑aligned creative frameworks

  • Repeatable campaign structures for yearly refresh

The result was recognizable year‑to‑year continuity supported by fresh creative execution.

Multi-Channel Event Marketing

Omaha Whiskey Fest required coordinated promotion across multiple channels to build awareness and drive attendance. Bythwood Creative developed and produced creative assets used across digital and physical touchpoints.

Deliverables included:

  • Promotional graphics and campaign visuals

  • Social content and digital promotion assets

  • Print collateral and event materials

  • On-site signage and environmental graphics

  • Sponsor recognition assets

Each piece supported the same core campaign language and visual direction, ensuring a unified public presence.

Print & Environmental Event Systems

On‑site and printed materials were developed to support navigation, sponsor recognition, and brand presence throughout the venue environment. These pieces translated campaign identity into physical space.

This included:

  • Event signage systems

  • Print collateral

  • Environmental graphics

  • Sponsor recognition displays

  • Guest‑facing materials

Environmental and print assets were designed as part of the campaign system — not as afterthoughts — reinforcing brand presence throughout the event experience.

Photography & Event Visual Coverage

Event photography supported both promotion and post‑event storytelling. Visual coverage captured the scale, atmosphere, sponsor presence, and guest experience, supplying assets for future campaign promotion and recap marketing.

Photography coverage focused on:

  • Event atmosphere and energy

  • Sponsor visibility moments

  • Guest engagement

  • Brand activations

These visual assets extended the life of each year’s campaign beyond the event itself.

Impact

Multi‑year creative and campaign leadership helped establish:

  • A recognizable annual campaign system

  • Structured sponsor visibility frameworks

  • Cohesive multi‑channel promotion

  • Strong visual continuity year over year

  • Scalable creative systems for event growth

Early sponsorship activation support contributed to partnership momentum, with later governance successfully transitioning to board leadership using established frameworks.
